ROLLER
CONSTRUCTION:
The materials used to make the rollers are selected based on the strength, hygiene and cleaning requirements applicable in the food industry.
The basic frame is usually made of stainless steel (inox), which has high corrosion resistance and allows for easy cleaning and disinfection.
The rollers can also be made of stainless steel or special plastic materials suitable for contact with food (food-grade plastics).
USE:
Roller conveyors are used to transport products or packages from one stage of the production process to another. They connect different machines and workstations of the production line, allowing a continuous flow of products. For example, they can transport packaged food from the filling machine to the labeling machine, from the packaging to the box packaging or to the palletizing and storage process. The products move on the rollers of the roller conveyor either by gravity or by mechanical movement provided by a motor.
PURPOSE:
The main purpose of rollers is to improve the flow of products along the production process. Their use achieves continuous and smooth transport of products, reduces the need for manual movement by personnel and increases the overall efficiency of the production line. At the same time, synchronization between the different stages of production is facilitated.
NEEDS COVERED:
Roller conveyors cover important functional needs of the food industry. They contribute to the safe transport of products, reducing the risk of damage or falling during movement. In addition, they limit manual work, which improves working conditions and reduces product handling time. At the same time, they help to better organize the production area and can be easily integrated into automated control and production systems.
