LOG ROLLER RK6

The machine consists of two main, fully modernized parts that work together harmoniously:

The Heavy Transport Roller, an elongated, extremely robust industrial-type metal frame (chassis), on which a series of specially shaped “V”-shaped rollers (cylinders) is mounted. This design ensures that the log is automatically centered during transport and remains absolutely stable without the risk of lateral slippage.

The Cutting & Holding Station, at the end of the line, is a vertical tower (frame) that incorporates a strong vertical stabilization mechanism (block/clamp) and the cutting system, framed by a protected control station.

1. Loading & Alignment: The log is placed on the roller bed. Due to its weight and the “V” shape of the rollers, it immediately “nests” in the center of the track.
2. Automated Advancement: The electric motor with the speed reducer drives the rollers. The log is transported linearly to the cutting point at a completely controlled speed.
3. Holding & Stabilization: Once the log reaches the desired cutting length, the upper mechanism descends and “locks” the wood with enormous pressure, eliminating vibrations.
4. Cutting: The integrated saw performs the cross cut with millimetre precision, ensuring a clean cut without tearing the wood.
